Tony Jimenez - What you should know about playing the game right?

Football has been played for years. That said, the game has changed a lot over the years. To learn about playing better football, keep reading. Work on kicking abilities regularly. Solid kicking skills are still an important component to the game. Many players that step onto the football field don’t bother putting in enough time practicing their kicking. Kickers need to practice increasing the amount of time the ball is in the air, accuracy and strength. Approach all your plays as if they were the most important plays in a big pro game. Although the football season can be trying at times, you never want to give less than your best. Give 150% every time the ball is in play. Football is played by a team, not an individual. There are members of that team who support you; why not do the same for them? You should not keep the ball to yourself and assume you are the best player on your team. Look out for the best interests of your team so everyone can win. When a new football trick is successful, do not overuse it in your game. It is a good idea to use something that works. However, use it too often and the opposition will learn to spot it ahead of time. Opposing Team You must be able to read the opposing team’s formation if you’re playing defense. You can have a good idea of the play by looking at where the opposing team’s receiver lines up. If the receiver lines up very wide, there is a good chance the play is a pass. Of course, this could be a decoy, but it leaves the offense with fewer blockers inside. Maintain a healthy body so that your career can continue. That means carefully warming up when you practice, go to the gym or play. You need to eat right and follow good hygienic practices so you can give the immune system a boost. Make sure that you constantly practice, too. Perfect the technique of stiff arm use if you play the positions of receiver or running back. That’s a great technique because it gets you some yards and time, and gives you the ability to fend off another player. Just stick out your arm straight. Kickers should be capable of kicking 50 yard field goals. Use weight lifting methods to build your leg strength. Flexibility will also help with long kicks. Be sure to stretch throughout the day to be flexible and to maintain that flexibility. Work hard on your passing routes. Receivers who run straight up middle field are often not as effective. They do crossing routes, slants and other techniques. When the receiver first runs forward and then sideways, that’s a crossing route. Slant routes involve using a kind of diagonal line to reach the ball. Any route can get the ball where it needs to go. Use both feet for better speed and overall play. Many people favor one foot over the other, but you should learn to use both. Using both feet gives you more options. You’ll be better at anything if you know what you’re doing beforehand. You can prove yourself a worthy player just by search for advice. Keep learning and reading all you can to better your game even more.
